How TintoHot Reviews Adult Platforms
What we test, how the TintoHot Score is calculated and why affiliate deals never change it.
Every review on TintoHot follows the same process, whether the platform pays us a commission or not. This guide explains what that process looks like in practice.
We use real accounts
We sign up like any reader would, browse as a free user first and then pay with our own money where the platform requires it. We do not accept free credits in exchange for coverage.
Six criteria, published weights
The TintoHot Score is a weighted average of six ratings: features, ease of use, mobile experience, privacy and safety, pricing transparency and value. The weights are published on our How We Review page, and the same weights apply to every platform in a category.
Scores and money are stored separately
Our CMS keeps editorial scores and affiliate priority in separate fields. Editors who score platforms cannot see affiliate revenue, and commercial placements are labelled. A platform cannot buy a higher score.
Facts carry a verification status
Pricing, availability and features change. Each platform has a "last reviewed" date and a verification status. Until an editor confirms the current facts, pages say so clearly.
We update and correct
When a platform changes in a way that affects readers, we update the review and its date. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction.
Translations are labelled
Some pages are available in Spanish and Portuguese. If a translation has not yet been checked by an editor, the page tells you, and the English version remains the reference.
