Real accounts, our own money
We sign up as ordinary users, browse for free first and pay with our own money where the platform requires it. We do not accept free credits in exchange for coverage.
The TintoHot Score
Each platform receives a 0–10 rating on six criteria. The overall score is a weighted average using the weights shown on this page. The same weights apply to every platform in a category.
Scores and money are kept apart
Editorial scores and affiliate priority are stored in separate fields and edited by different roles. Rankings are ordered by score. A platform cannot buy a higher score or a better position.
Facts are dated and verified
Prices and features change. Every platform shows when it was last reviewed. If current facts have not been re-verified, the page says so.
Updates and corrections
We revisit reviews when a platform changes in a way that matters to readers, and we update the date when we do.
